At Push 40 Fitness, we focus on functional movements that use multiple muscle groups. Before each class, your coach will demonstrate the correct form and proper alignment that allow you to get the most out of the exercise and avoid injury.
The more muscle that you have, the higher your metabolism will be. So for anyone who is looking to “tone” or lose weight, strength training is a crucial part to your success. If we avoid the strength component as we focus on burning calories, we usually end up losing muscle in the process and when we lose muscle, we slow down our metabolism.
The strength movements that we do can be modified for people at any level. Our coaches are in the class to make sure we have correct form and we also challenge members to increase the weights as they get stronger.
